When user wants to delete some files, he get's the error: 'Could not find this item ..' The error is displayed to the user and it looks like the file can't be deleted. But when I press the F5 (refresh) button, the file is gone. I was trying to delete a folder, but couldn't do it. Each time I was trying to delete the folder, Windows was giving me a prompt saying "This is no longer located in [location]. Verify the item's location and try again."

The problem isn't the source, it's the destination. It appears I am unable to copy anything , from anywhere, to that harddrive without getting the same error. I cannot save anything to this drive either. A simple "Save As" to this drive results in a message " File not found. Check the file name and try again."
I personally have not really used Macrium Reflect and have always used Acronis. It comes with the ability to make a bootable flashdrive that contains the full program Acronis True Image. Boot to this, before Windows and select the drive, clone it or find the files (if using the backup function), and save them to a good hard drive location. Restore the files when you get to your desktop, using Acronis.

I had this problem for an smb share. After checking /etc/smb.conf on the server, I hadn't added the user trying to connect from the client machine to the valid users line for that share. Once I added the user to valid users, the error resolved and I could successfully connect.
I have a Drobo 5N, and it's network name is "Drobo5N" - I get this error occasionally, and I have noticed that when I get the error, and I look in the Finder, my Drobo is named "drobo5n" (all lower-case).
