When user wants to delete some files, he get's the error: 'Could not find this item ..' The error is displayed to the user and it looks like the file can't be deleted. But when I press the F5 (refresh) button, the file is gone. Error : Could Not Find This Item. This is No Longer Located …
I was trying to delete a folder, but couldn't do it. Each time I was trying to delete the folder, Windows was giving me a prompt saying "This is no longer located in [location]. Verify the item's location and try again."
The problem is that Explorer can see the files, but can't delete them. Some applications would see the folders (Explorer primarily) while others (like the Windows Command Prompt) don't. When I tried to delete the folders I'd get this lovely error message:
This common error will be displayed when you are trying to access a certain file either to delete, rename, or open it. Practically speaking, if you can discover and view a file on your pc then you should also have clear access to it. However, this unusual error occurs and you could not find any reason for that.
Moreover, this happens with files to be created using third-party services and it generally happens because the extension of the file is not properly defined. There are some other unseen causes as well. Given below are some solutions or you can call them ultimate tricks to overcome this situation. So, go ahead with these tips & tricks to avoid the error.

These were some simple tweaks that need to be followed to delete a file that gives error raising message. Hope these simple commands & solutions will offer you great help. Thanks for reading this article and let us know if you have another solution to this problem. Thank you!!
The problem isn't the source, it's the destination. It appears I am unable to copy anything , from anywhere, to that harddrive without getting the same error. I cannot save anything to this drive either. A simple "Save As" to this drive results in a message " File not found. Check the file name and try again."
I personally have not really used Macrium Reflect and have always used Acronis. It comes with the ability to make a bootable flashdrive that contains the full program Acronis True Image. Boot to this, before Windows and select the drive, clone it or find the files (if using the backup function), and save them to a good hard drive location. Restore the files when you get to your desktop, using Acronis.
Do you get the 'Could Not Find This Item' error when deleting files, folders, or icons in Windows 10? Follow this simple guide to easily delete files that cannot be deleted when you encounter this error.
If AirPods or a Find My network accessory is detected but the Find My app has issues connecting to them or to the server at that time, this alert is displayed: Unknown Accessory Detected. This alert will display only if a set of AirPods or a Find My network accessory is detected near you, not an AirTag. These could be borrowed AirPods, or AirPods inadvertently left behind by a friend or family member.
To alert people nearby, any AirTag separated for a period of time from its owner will emit a sound when it's moved. If you find an AirTag after hearing it make a sound, you can use any device that has NFC, such as an iPhone or Android phone, to see if its owner marked it as lost and if you can help return it. If you feel that this AirTag or Find My network accessory might be tracking people without their consent, you can get instructions on how to disable it.
To disable the AirTag, AirPods, or Find My network accessory and stop it from sharing its location, tap Instructions to Disable and follow the onscreen steps. After the AirTag, AirPods, or Find My network accessory is disabled, the owner can no longer get updates on its current location. You will also no longer receive any unwanted tracking alerts for this item.
I could not delete a file on Windows since the explorer could not find this item although it is visible on desktop and listed in folder view. When I try to delete, deletion failed with reporting error "Could not find this item. This is no longer located in" target folder.
I had this problem for an smb share. After checking /etc/smb.conf on the server, I hadn't added the user trying to connect from the client machine to the valid users line for that share. Once I added the user to valid users, the error resolved and I could successfully connect.
I have a Drobo 5N, and it's network name is "Drobo5N" - I get this error occasionally, and I have noticed that when I get the error, and I look in the Finder, my Drobo is named "drobo5n" (all lower-case). I have not found a way to fix this without rebooting my computer... but, I'd love to find one. (I do not have to do anything to my Drobo - just reboot my Mac.)
When the AWS CLI reports an error that you don't immediately understand, or produces results that you don't expect, you can get more detail about the error by running the command again with the --debug option. With this option, the AWS CLI outputs details about every step it takes to process your command. The details in the output can help you to determine when the error occurs and provides clues about where it started.
If you updated the AWS CLI and used a different install method than your pre-existing installation, it might cause multiple versions to be installed. For example, if on Linux or macOS you used pip for your current install, but tried to update using the .pkg install file, this could cause some conflicts especially with your PATH pointing to the old version.
To fix this, instruct the AWS CLI where to find your companies .pem file using the ca_bundle configuration file setting, --ca-bundle command line option, or the AWS_CA_BUNDLE environment variable.
This is caused by your Certification Authority (CA) bundle file location being configured incorrectly in the AWS CLI. To fix this, confirm where your companies .pem file is located and update the AWS CLI configuration by using the ca_bundle configuration file setting, --ca-bundle command line option, or the AWS_CA_BUNDLE environment variable.
To fix this problem, temporarily disable any browser extensions or add-ons that are running. Once you change your shared folder settings and no longer need the shared folder options window, you can re-enable these browser extensions.
The expectation given in an Expect request-header field (see section 14.20) could not be met by this server, or, if the server is a proxy, the server has unambiguous evidence that the request could not be met by the next-hop server.
The server does not support, or refuses to support, the HTTP protocol version that was used in the request message. The server is indicating that it is unable or unwilling to complete the request using the same major version as the client, as described in section 3.1, other than with this error message. The response SHOULD contain an entity describing why that version is not supported and what other protocols are supported by that server.
The Boston Consolidated Gas Company, hereinafter called the company, manufactures a considerable quantity of gas at its plant in Everett but it purchases the greater portion of the gas that it sells to its customers. The gas is conveyed by pipe lines to the various districts that the company serves, where, by means of connections with these pipes, the gas is distributed and sold to its customers. The mains supplying gas to Quincy run through other municipalities. The company owns gas holders and other equipment necessary for the operation of this distributing system. It maintains service stations and sales offices in the territory in which its gas mains are located. Its principal office is located at Boston, where a large clerical staff is employed.
The rental value of land is competent as showing its market value, Lincoln v. Commonwealth, 164 Mass. 368; Ryder v. Lexington, 303 Mass. 281, 291, 292, although its earning capacity rather than its actual income would seem to be more appropriate for this purpose. Boston Belting Co. v. Boston, 183 Mass. 254. Donovan v. Haverhill, 247 Mass. 69. Harris Trust & Savings Bank v. Earl, 26 Fed. (2d) 617. Somers v. Meriden, 119 Conn. 5. Central Maine Power Co. v. Turner, 128 Maine, 486. And the capacity of the land to produce income may be shown by the character and extent of the use for which it has actually been employed. Pegler v. Hyde Park, 176 Mass. 101, 102. Wellington v. Cambridge, 220 Mass. 312, 318. Vineyard Grove Co. v. Oak Bluffs, 265 Mass. 270, 278. But the general rule is that the profits from a business located upon the land are not a fair measure of the value of the land because the financial returns from a commercial undertaking are dependent upon so many material factors having no real relation to the land itself that the profits cannot be said to be derived from the land. Whitman v. Boston & Maine Railroad, 3 Allen 133, 142. Cobb v. Boston, 109 Mass. 438. Whiting v. Commonwealth, 196 Mass. 468, 470. Brackett v. Commonwealth,
The subject of the tax is a network of underground pipes used by the company in delivering gas to its customers. There is nothing in the record to indicate that this distributing system could be used for any other purpose and there is nothing to show that, if operation of the system were discontinued, these pipes would have any removal value, although the meters located upon the premises of the customers might have some value if they were disconnected and repossessed by the company. The property was adapted to a single use and its value depended entirely upon a continuance of that use. It would therefore be difficult properly to appraise its value without considering its use, which was the only element that gave it whatever value it had. The absence of sales of similar property deprived the assessors of resorting to current market prices. Here the company did not have the right of sale that ordinarily attaches to ownership. It could not sell this distributing system and deprive itself of its power to perform its public duties without legislative sanction. G. L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 164, Section 21. Richardson v. Sibley, 11 Allen 65, 70. Clemens Electrical Manuf. Co. v. Walton, 173 Mass. 286; S. C. 206 Mass. 215. Attorney General v. Haverhill Gas Light Co. 215 Mass. 394. Attorney General v. Boston & Albany Railroad, 233 Mass. 460. And if a sale were effected the right of the purchaser to maintain the mains in the highways would be subject to limitations that have frequently been declared by this court. Natick Gas Light Co. v.
